This is amazing! Works best with stems or grassy herbs - cut into perfect little pieces. I love that I can hold it right over the pan and slice quickly. Leaves like my favorite cilantro take practice and sometimes require the use of a coating tool. The lid has a split end that can be used as a scraper to easily get between all the blades! I still use my regular chopping board for cilantro and basil when it's done, but these multi-scissors have really become a regular use. I bought these specifically for gifts - I love them so much! Fair warning - they're very sharp - so I bit my fingers trying to hold the bar down to the last bit - but then - when I'm typing - 2 finger thin slashes from my knife. Unfortunately I am not a professional chef!
