These scissors are great if you like julienne/chiffon herbs and you can cut them straight onto your plate. You will need to clean a little more than regular scissors as it has more blades but is not difficult to clean. I also like the color as it stands out and is easy to find in a drawer with other kitchen gadgets.

I've recently tried growing some herbs on my patio and I love using the herbs in my cooking. They make life a lot easier. After I have cleaned my herbs, these scissors can be used to quickly and easily cut them into small pieces. The design is awesome. The plastic lid helps to remove the grass pieces from the scissors, so there is no waste. Washing is also easy.

Scissors are fine. The blades are not that sharp. I could barely cut the cilantro on the first try. They are heavy and not easy to clean. After a wash or two, rust spots will appear on the blades. The green part is great for removing stuck herbs. Overall I wouldn't buy them again. Edit: After I posted my review, the company emailed me and offered to refund my money as I was unhappy with their product. I didn't expect this and appreciate your efforts in contacting me.

I LOVE these herb scissors. As someone who loves cilantro, basil, rosemary, etc., they have greatly improved my quality of life. My family loves to cook guacamole, but everyone hates cooking cilantro. Instead of plucking cilantro leaves and then slicing them, these scissors do the job! The protective cover also helps to remove stuck herbs from the scissors. And cleaning is fun! Just throw it in the dishwasher and voila! I have recommended these scissors to all my friends!

I bought these to see if I could get nicer cuts of some herbs that bruise when cut with a knife. I used regular scissors and was happy with the results so this item looked like it would speed things up. Well it works as I would expect with herbs and even leafy greens if you want a thin slice. I even do a cross cut on large sheets, first 3/4 of the sheet and then across for very small pieces. This is amazing! Works best with stems or grassy herbs - cut into perfect little pieces. I love that I can hold it right over the pan and slice quickly. Leaves like my favorite cilantro take practice and sometimes require the use of a coating tool. The lid has a split end that can be used as a scraper to easily get between all the blades! These herb scissors are durable, fairly easy to clean and attractive looking. It's just not as effective for grinding herbs as I expected. The blades don't feel as sharp and the herbs get clogged quickly, requiring you to stop and remove small bits from inside the blades. The tool/lid works well, but overall I was wondering if I actually saved prep time. I used it to chop basil and cilantro. The herbs must also be dry or they will stick to the blades. I will keep looking for the best technique.
