These herb scissors are durable, fairly easy to clean and attractive looking. It's just not as effective for grinding herbs as I expected. The blades don't feel as sharp and the herbs get clogged quickly, requiring you to stop and remove small bits from inside the blades. The tool/lid works well, but overall I was wondering if I actually saved prep time. I used it to chop basil and cilantro. The herbs must also be dry or they will stick to the blades. I will keep looking for the best technique. It seems that if you use more scissor tips they work better, although then you end up with a lot of scissors that are useless. You can also work more easily with tougher herbs like rosemary. I am not sure if I will leave her. no jury yet!
