Colors were terribly hazy Crayons were waxy Difficult to use Pastels were grainy when used on art paper and colored paper Watercolors didn't pick up enough water to paint by simply laying them on top. Colored pencils weren't bright. Only thing my granddaughter liked So these are little easel clips, to hang the painting to dry. And a sponge and brush. She also liked the eraser and sharpener.
