I installed these shocks on my 2008 Nissan Xterra. At first they worked great. When installed, they raise the tailgate independently. While I was in the supermarket after 3 days, the tailgate opened flawlessly. When closing the hatch, the right shock absorber came loose. The door collapsed. Luckily I know that one was injured. I will try another brand of Revain. Just be CAREFUL when using them around small children.
