At $800+ you would expect more. I also have a Fujitsu fi-6130 which costs around $700. Although pages feed and display faster with Canon, feeding problems are very common. Probably because of the speed. There has never been a double feed at Fujitsu. Canon already had several of these. We often scan pages of different thicknesses, often documents that have been folded and glued without an envelope. These types of documents sometimes have a slightly thicker side than a normal document. Fujitsu does an excellent job with this. Canon thinks it is a double feed and stops. I have to go to Fujitsu to have it scanned. Canon just doesn't do that. I thought it would be smarter than my old cheap and slow Fujitsu scanner but I was wrong.
