Review on LG Electronics Portable External GP40NB40 by Michael Bustamante

I am updating my rating and lowering the stars from 5 to 3 stars. The reason is that we have only used this product a couple of times and the last time we tried to use it the CD would not play. Then the CD got stuck inside and we couldn't open the device by pressing the eject button. My husband opened it with a thin blade and we are now suspicious of using it. My husband's CD/DVD player died on his old computer so we bought it to replace that drive. This product arrived in excellent condition and works great. It seems quite flimsy/fragile so we are very careful with inserting and removing discs, but so far my husband is very happy with this item. The compact size doesn't take up much space either, making it easy to leave it in the box when used between uses. It took a long time to load at first, but his computer is an old Vista, maybe that's why. Other than that, for the price, it's a good thing. There are also no problems in use. I'm not sure how it will perform under very heavy use, but it's fine for those who need an external CD/DVD player from time to time.
