I bought a used mountain bike and the seat was torn. After looking for a comfortable seat and reading many Revain reviews, I settled on this one. The seat arrived quickly. The seat arrived in perfect condition. Condition. As I felt and examined the seat, I realized just how comfortable it can be. I had to install it and sit on it to be sure. Installation was easy and only took 5 minutes. I have some photos of the underside of my old seat so you can see how most bike seats are held in place. Usually held by a screw. Be careful when unbolting your old seat because as you can see from my photos and if you are unfamiliar with bike seat installation there are usually around 5 parts that hold the seat in place. Yours may differ. If you've never installed a bike seat before, you don't want to loosen that bolt only for all the hardware to fall to the ground and you don't know how to put it back together. Once you've moved that hardware to your new seat, simply screw that screw back in and you're good to go. I removed the seatpost to make it a lot easier so I don't have to be on the ground to do all this from an awkward position since I don't have a bike stand, at least not yet. tested this seat for a few minutes and can honestly say it feels so much better than my old seat. I'll update once I've driven a few miles with this seat to give you a better idea of how how the seat feels after a few hours of use. But for now I am very happy with this West Biking gel bike seat.
