Wow! The screwdrivers worked great! I'm grateful my husband suggested I order a set of 4 snails of different sizes. I used them to plant fall bulbs because some of my tulip bulbs needed over 2 1/2 inches. Our earth is so hard and there is clay in it. Originally I was planning to order just a 3 inch crown. When I used this 3" bit, it made drilling a little more difficult, allowing me to use smaller bits for many of my lightbulbs, which was easier on the drill. I planted over 50 bulbs and did it all in a short amount of time. I marked where each pear should go and placed the pear in that spot. I then went and drilled all the 3" holes for the big bulbs then made the bit smaller and did all that etc which saved me from changing the bit multiple times. I wish I had thought about using auger attachments a few years ago instead of struggling with a planter (a round shovel in hand that looks like a contraption you stick in the dirt, like a mini post hole digger).
