Soft metal wears out

Soft metal, seals wear out. I swapped out the valves on my yz450f and replaced all the valves with this batch but was able to use a factory seal. After 50 hours of riding, all the hot cam seals have rubbed a circle into the top of the valve that I can cling to with my fingernail. The OEM seal is still perfect. My buddies also took the pads from this kit and saw the same wear and tear. Maybe I just have a bad batch. I looked at the Pro X kit and they mentioned a heat treatment for the right hardness, hot cameras don't mention that. I wonder if that's why they all wear out?
