Replacement parts priced at $$

Great kit. 3 each. It's nice to know I had everything I needed to complete the job before I even pulled the cap to check the gap. Will be ordering "refills" for the sizes I use.

Pros
  • High test scores for support and durability
Cons
  • Minor issues

Hot mash: engine parts

The product came with spacers scattered around the box. I have no idea what kind of pads I have or if there are any. I need to separate and organize to know what or if I received all the gaskets in the kit. I wanted to exchange them for a new one, but they are sold out.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Nice set with a small problem.

Kit looks better than pictured. I received a lovely box with 48 compartments, each clearly labeled, and 3 pads of each size. Spring . NEARLY! The 2.30mm only had 2 and, I don't know, THIS is the size I needed the most! Well, I still can't make it this week!

  • Sturdy construction

Accurate valve shims, great value

These are a great fit for adjusting the valves on my '99 Kawasaki ZRX1100. I've measured most of the ones I've used with a calibrated micrometer and they were correct. I somehow managed to get through unnecessarily but ran out of two sizes so will be ordering refills. Excellent quality and value. good sentence. Many Thanks.

Must have DRZ400S 07

Just because I know someone like me is concerned I just adjusted the valves at 9km Cover the gasket anyway so 2km later "hesitating" doesn't mean that I had 0.08 on wing 1 intake, 0.18 wing 1 on exhaust and a little more pop when decelerating. This could be a telltale sign if you ride, they're a bit tight, adjusted, put all 4 valves to mid spec, cleaned my carburetor and it's like a new bike, she's a beast again

Pros
  • Hands free operation
Cons
  • Something else

Soft metal wears out

Soft metal, seals wear out. I swapped out the valves on my yz450f and replaced all the valves with this batch but was able to use a factory seal. After 50 hours of riding, all the hot cam seals have rubbed a circle into the top of the valve that I can cling to with my fingernail. The OEM seal is still perfect. My buddies also took the pads from this kit and saw the same wear and tear. Maybe I just have a bad batch. I looked at the Pro X kit and they mentioned a heat treatment for the rightโ€ฆ

Low power, low top speed, low fuel consumption, change the seals!

My 2008 Kawasaki Vulcan 900, 4500 miles. Very few kilometers but 12 years old. My bike's top speed on the freeway was only 70 miles and I was feeling weak. Even with too much gas. I only got 20.27 mpg because of poor fuel economy. I almost took it to a bike shop for repairs, but I saw a YouTube video showing how to use shims to adjust the valve clearances. I decide to try it myself. I have found that I need to replace 4 seals on my bike. I went to a Kawasaki dealer to buy pads but they tried to

Pros
  • Satisfied so far

  • Minuses
