This lift works well. If you need help with lighter furniture then this works very well. I used it on a very heavy piece of furniture, around 350 pounds. He picked up the heavy piece. I was concerned about the edge of the steel hoist splitting the wood. So I put a block of wood between the lift and the furniture. It worked very well. The lift raising parts work well. The only problem is that it takes two hands to lift heavy furniture for the handle. The length is a little short. It feels like you might hurt your hand if the tool breaks. But the rubber tip on the handle is easy to remove. You can install a longer tube over the handle. This makes lifting heavy objects easier and makes me feel safer. No problem lifting normal heavy furniture. With the other hand, you can conveniently align the glide pad with one hand. I haven't used wheel movers but they look ok. They don't look like they will hold 300 pounds but for regular furniture I think it will be fine.
