I like this because I can turn on a light in my basement from the top of my stairs .
The only thing that surprised me was I did not get a remote control with it . The other one that I used to have came with a remote control which was a bit easier to use from the top of the stairs to turn the lamp on in the basement .
- No remote controls for either unit. Not consistent operation.
