This book disappointed me. After flipping through the book, I decided that the most attractive drawing was the one on the cover. Many of the sweaters in it were large and shapeless (although a photo of many didn't help), and others were boring. I was disappointed that many of the pieces were mostly plain and just braided. Even the sweater on the cover has some of that style, but unlike the sweaters on the inside, the cables are so cleverly placed that you hardly notice the jerseys. I liked the author's description of different cables and their origin. However, I didn't like the way she integrated these cords into actual sweaters or hats. So I only recommend this book if you want to check out her braid ideas and use them to design your own sweaters, or if you're willing to buy a book just to knit the pattern on the cover. Finally, of course, the choice of book is partly a matter of taste. My tastes match Aran's drawings and fisherman's sweaters, and if you have similar tastes you might not like this book either.
