I installed this on a standard 07 Tundra double cabin bed. I started by following the instructions (and my own Pop & Lock youtube video) which indicated that the wiring had to be routed down the left side rail of the truck frame. This is completely wrong; After routing the wires and threading them through the grommet on the driver's side (you know, the LEFT side of the truck), I found that said wires didn't exist there. Your own Youtube video even shows the installer routing the wires to the driver's side panel. At a later stage the instructions mention connecting on the passenger side. As the left side was mentioned earlier, as well as a youtube video showing the installation on the driver's side, I decided to run the cables on this side instead as they contradicted each other multiple times at this point. I thought the real video couldn't be fake otherwise why would they do it? Mistakes happen, but the video has to be safe. Not right. Now I'll stop all my work and run the wiring on the passenger side through the grommet to the kick bar. And I found that the specified cable colors do not exist. I went to the truck's service manual and found that what actually needed to be connected were the white and thin blue wires. No silver dashes like the instructions say, although I think they came close this time. Now it's installed and I'll test it. It opens normally, but when you try to block it, it gets stuck. I take a closer look and notice that the latch plate on the bracket is too high and snagging on the locking lever on the factory handle. I checked the instructions and everything was correct, so I used a grinder to shorten this burr so it wouldn't stick. It took too long, but it works. It should cost a lot less for the number of changes and deviations from instructions required. The only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1 was because it actually works after everything was installed. But due to the poor documentation, their official youtube video being wrong and needing to grind some of it to actually work I can't recommend it at this price point.
