Review on Swanson T0108 Square Layout Tool by Kelvin Hernandez

My son got very interested in woodworking last year so I'm buying him different tools so he doesn't have to take mine anymore. I bought it for him for Christmas because he liked mine, but when I got this one I found that it's better than mine (maybe it's because it's not 30 years old and is heavily used?) . But this is an incredibly simple and well-made speed ramp. The few notches are great for staying in place when marking your pieces. It is a HEAVY metal which makes it very durable. This little man will be the centerpiece of my son's instrument collection. I just have to make sure somehow that he doesn't get any better than me at his woodworking skills.
