I paid more because it looked like a really solid iPad holder. I'm an airline pilot and we meet up from time to time. I didn't even get airborne and this thing kept falling off the plexiglass. I washed the window and it still fell down before I even got to the runway. I wrote to the manufacturer and they said they would contact me but they never died. This might work better on a glass car window or on a kitchen counter, but it won't work on an airplane. I missed the return date by a day so now I'm stuck on this useless piece of metal. Spent over $40
