Green plastic inserts are not slippery, the white plastic body of the brushes will slip when oil or grease gets on it. If you have weak wrists or hands, the white plastic may be too slippery for you. For me, keeping only the green parts gives a good grip. Better than the latest brush set for general cleaning of dishes and pans.
