Review on De "Longhi Magnifica ECAM 22.360 coffee machine, black by Celina Kaczmarek ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The ratio of price and quality is very pleasing, I will repeat the purchase.

In general, a good purchase. If you choose the beans to your taste, you will no longer want to ever return to instant coffee. Different grains have different degrees of roasting and strength. When changing beans or when using the machine for the first time, it is better to pour one small cup of coffee for yourself for the first time - this will be an indicator / check that the machine is set up correctly and the beans are selected to your taste, because in other cooking modes the taste will be approximately the same (stronger or weaker - depending on how much water). That is, if the taste is sour and you don’t like it, it’s worth making the grinding of grains finer and also reduce the strength in the settings and then make one small cup of coffee again. The main thing worth noting is that ground beans that have passed boiling water through themselves get into the container for processed coffee. Consequently, they stick to the bottom and it is difficult to clean the container without water. And it's better not to delay it. If you wash this container with water, then it is better to pour the water itself with "waste" into the toilet bowl - the sink will very quickly become clogged from coffee grounds. But still not a bad option - napkins or paper towels - we clean the container from the thick, throw everything into the trash, and then just rinse the container with water.

Pros
  • Very easy to use and maintain - there is a bean compartment, there is a water tank and a milk tank. The grains were poured, milk and water were poured into the tanks, a cup was placed on the coffee machine and the Cappuccino button was pressed = coffee with milk foam is ready in a couple of minutes. You can choose from 1-2 small cups of coffee (80 ml) or 1-2 large cups (120 ml) without milk. If the coffee is "sour" - just make the degree of grinding smaller. It is also easy to choose the strength. Cleaning is very simple - when you turn the machine off and on, it passes boiling water through itself to drain the coffee residue from the inside. Separate container for already processed coffee. The milk tank has a foam regulator and there is also a Clean mode - the machine also passes boiling water through the tank to drain the remaining milk from the insides. There is also a built-in program for descaling - if you follow the instructions that come with the coffee machine, then nothing complicated.
Cons
  • One could say the price - from the experience of using it for more than 3 months, I can say that a tank of milk and milk foam are not so necessary. And from the same manufacturer there is a 1/4 cheaper model without a milk tank (well, there is an analogue - a faucet that lets steam - you can manually prepare foam with it). In addition, somewhere in the second month of use, I began to drink either pure coffee or with ice cream or cream. Plus, there is a small minus with the milk tank - it does not fit tightly in the coffee machine, so it may be that there will be small drops of milk at the junction of the tank with the machine. Well, then I think it makes no sense to explain what will happen if these drops are not wiped immediately)
