Review on πŸ”₯ 6P Outlet FIRECOP: Innovative Fire Extinguisher Concept - Safeguarding Power Strips & Outlets from Fires by Jeremy Meza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Safety first is good for fire safety

I live in a small apartment with old wiring with handle and pipe, two prong outlets (no ground) and very few of those for that matter. Add to this the demands of the modern household, even with energy efficient appliances, and you have the perfect recipe for fighting fires. I have a lot of devices that get power from power strips etc. While I wouldn't call anything a "daisy chain" but it's enough to make me nervous about overloading my already fragile circuit. These small patches provide reassurance that the area most likely to start a fire/spark can be easily extinguished with these small sticky pieces. The backing peels off easily and for the most part they fit snugly between the teeth. from my plugs. While I can't speak to their effectiveness, I hope I never have to and have the added reassurance that they're helping me protect myself from disaster.

Pros
  • Fire safety
Cons
  • Has been damaged
