This was a great purchase. The thickness and quality of this runner has really proven to be money well spent. It looks perfect on my coffee table (and hides existing scratches and protects them from future ones!) and makes a great neutral addition to my living room! Added bonus: every night I usually have dinner in my living room. On my first day with this runner, I spilled some salad dressing on it—not too much, but not too little either. Because this runner contains several shades of brown, it's really easy to clean. After wiping the stain with some soap and water and letting it dry, I couldn't tell where the accident happened. A piece of advice for future buyers: once you've taken the runner out of the box, use something to align it. I put my laptop and books where the creases were and it helped smooth them out much faster.
