Review on 🌀 Swirl Marbled Abstract Gray/Blue Area Rug, 3 ft. x 5 ft., Casual Contemporary Transitional Style, Easy to Clean, Bedroom Living Room Rug, Non Shedding by Sal Mattocks

I bought this for my hallway which I thought would require some interest. When I unrolled it for the first time I was a bit disappointed - it was evening and I looked very closely at the pattern and expected it. more? But after putting it back in place and letting it sit for the night and then looking at it as a whole in the morning light, I was much happier. Lighting makes a big difference in how a pattern looks. See my photo comparison. The photo on the left was taken in the evening with little natural light - it looks like it only has flat mustard yellow "highlights". But today, with more natural light, I got the right shot - you can tell these yellow fibers have some "shimmer" and the way the sunlight hits them makes them look more metallic and cooler. Where I have it, it looks very different at different times of the day. This is a thinner rug, which is exactly what I wanted because our door has almost no clearance from the uneven tile floor. The last carpet I tried got in the way and prevented us from using the door properly. This is thin enough not to interfere with opening the door at all. But if you're looking for a really comfortable rug, you'll probably want to put a thicker pad underneath. However very soft! The gray has a slightly purplish tint which I wasn't expecting. Not as neutral as I thought, but it still works well in my space. I haven't had to clean it yet, but the material seems very similar (maybe even the same) to other thin Safavia rugs I own. So I think based on my past experience it will be easy to distinguish between cleaning and vacuuming. The pattern will definitely help hide smudges and/or small stains so I don't feel like it needs constant vacuuming to keep it looking good. Overall I am very happy with this rug in every way - meets all my needs at a good price, good looks and softness - and I would recommend it! excellent condition. I vacuum it often and have had to remove some cat clothes from it and it's holding up great. I use my regular carpet cleaner and it works well and doesn't leave stains. I'm still happy with my purchase!
