No it's not cheap for lighters and parts
And it's price AND quality. You get what you pay for and this fork is as good a quality as they are. So yes, it costs $20 not to melt cheap plastic and take care of the mess. I do a lot of electronics which requires me to quickly plug in 12V for troubleshooting and testing devices that can handle the current there. This plug is perfect for all applications as it is so versatile that it can be used for any setup you wish to use. And I'm a regular customer!
