I bought this portable potty to use when we were in a place we might need it but ran out of stock or we ourselves did not feel comfortable using it, especially during the spread of COVID-19. I used the eco version of the deodorant offered by Thetford because it doesn't mess up the waste compartment. It has shown good at containing any odor. The toilet worked great. It was small enough to fit in the back of my van but light enough to be removed when we weren't using it for the day. To clean it, I took off two parts of the device. I capped the water tank and flushed several times to get rid of the remaining water. I put the holding tank in the toilet and disinfected it with a cleaner. I made sure there was no water left in either tank and disinfected it from the outside. I will keep it in the box ready for next use. I was so happy that my children have this opportunity. This makes journeys more relaxed and you don't have to worry about toilet stops.
