I used to have a Noco Gen1 for my AGM batteries in my RV so I bought this when I switched to Li-ion batteries. understand what all this does, so if you're like me here are a few things I want to know before you buy. It charges at a rate of 10 amps per hour. I saw a rating of 10 amps and "30 amps" and assumed that meant it was charging at 30 amps. 3 connections of 10 amp hours each is where that 30 comes in, so don't be stupid like me. I just didn't know what that meant in terms of the TIME it took to charge. I recently bought 2 SOK 206 amp batteries (the best there is in terms of price/build from Will Prowse - welcome to take a look) so I had to switch to this charger as it charges lithium and my others . would not. Well, it was charged for 20 hours by a nearly dead one (because that's how it needs to be charged). Now it makes sense to me, 206 Ah divided by 10 means 20 hours! Not sure I would need a faster charger as it was quite hot and I split the time worried about the heat it was giving off from NOCO. The batteries were fine, but the NOCO generated a lot of heat. It was in the 60's so it wasn't hot at all outdoors (unlike an RV) and I had to fit a fan to keep it cool. I didn't want it to be too hot for it to turn off automatically. It worries me a lot so I replaced the shelf it was sitting on and put in a drilled aluminum plate to help with heat dissipation and a larger fan to pull air in and out and some ventilation panels. closet and hope for the best. This may not be a problem as I hope it never drains to this level as I have 2 batteries but if I did I would have to keep a close eye on it rather than plug it in and have a day like my other . I like the fact that the wires are nice and thick like they should be and the connections are very strong. The entire unit weighs 7.7 pounds and is very durable. I also like that it's very easy to set the battery type and the gauges show you how far along you are. My Gen1 charged for 10 hours without getting hot so I was surprised at how hot it got after only 4 hours but I connected it to 2 batteries. My Gen1 was connected to a single battery even though I thought it was 2 batteries in parallel. My lithium is also connected in parallel, but the instructions say to make a connection for each battery since lithium has a BMS. I'll be back this summer and will let you know how it works once I get everything working. I just used it in my garage to charge the batteries as soon as I got them.
