New Lipoly battery for trolling motors, charged in 24 hours

The new trolling motor's Lipoly battery has been charging for 24 hours, but the first light hasn't come on yet. The battery was never used, charged for the first time. Damn, this thing is slow! I also noticed that it doesn't have a temperature sensor for any of the three battery charging leads, so I have to assume this thing doesn't know when it's too hot or too cold outside to charge the lipo batteries. , which can cause a boat to catch fire if the battery fails? It would be very bad at sea…

I liked it until a bank collapsed in 6 weeks.

I bought this for my boat to charge and service 3 new deep cycle batteries. Bank #2 failed 6 weeks after installation, only needed charging 3 times after moderate use. Customer service via email was excellent. I could return it and wait 4-6 weeks or buy another direct from them while mine was being tested and they will refund the purchase price once the problem is identified. I bought a second one and installed it, sent them the faulty unit. Cost me $47 UPS. It sucks. The second has worked…

Designed for use in marine environments

So far, so good. I'm a rigger at a very expensive boat building company. I had a brand name charger on my boat and it was struck by lightning. We'll just say it was yellow and black. To my surprise, this charger came with regular copper wires. I took a chance and bought a Noco charger and was pleased to see that it was built with tinned copper wires. That's a big plus because my boat lives in salt water 7 or 8 months a year. I have nothing against the yellow and black charger, but this is where

Outstanding charger for wet, AGM and lithium batteries

NOCO provided a great charger for this GENPRO10X3 10Amp Three Cell Charger. It does exactly what they promise, which is to keep your batteries in top condition. I also like the administration for each individual bank. I can choose which banks are charged or not. We now live in the age of lithium batteries for trolling motors. They require a different approach. Lithium batteries work best when you do NOT keep them fully charged in maintenance mode like you do with wet cells or AGMs. They work…

Pros
  • Mounting redefined - Simplified mounting system allows for quick and easy installation in any direction - even upside down - with built-in anti-vibration pad to isolate shock, vibration and noise.

Great Product, Best Electronic

I used to have a Noco Gen1 for my AGM batteries in my RV so I bought this when I switched to Li-ion batteries. understand what all this does, so if you're like me here are a few things I want to know before you buy. It charges at a rate of 10 amps per hour. I saw a rating of 10 amps and "30 amps" and assumed that meant it was charging at 30 amps. 3 connections of 10 amp hours each is where that 30 comes in, so don't be stupid like me. I just didn't know what that meant in terms of the TIME it…

Pros
  • Engineered for Water - Fully sealed and waterproof IP68 rated onboard charger that has withstood rigorous life cycle testing including thousands of hours submerged.
