Failed within 1500 miles on a wide new 454. At 1500 miles it started to fail at 2000 rpm and up. Lid and rotor removed. Black roll bar and carbon chains. Lid and rotor replaced with Delco air conditioning. That helped, but didn't fit the problem. Finally, I cleaned a stock Delco A/C manifold that had 225,000 miles on the odometer. Plug in, reset time, problem solved. You get what you pay for! Didn't have to buy it until the engine was built mind you try it and still get your money back.
