Had some issues with Dizzy in my Silverado. After some research I found that the price of this manifold is better than replacing the components in the manifold. The new one came in a few days, I swapped it out for my old one and reset the time and the truck works great. All for less than $50. I would call it a win any day of the week.

Overall quality looked good but the "cheap" distributor cap (very thin material) arrived with no damage to the packaging, but there was a tear from the bottom up along the #1 spark plug boot on the distributor. Very well packaged so we assume this 'crack' did not develop during shipping and rough handling during shipping made the crack more visible.

Worked about a week then when I was about 200 miles from home the ignition control module blew. The hardware of the device is great but the electronics are not up to date. If I had to choose again I would save money and buy a famous brand. Aside from having to wait multiple times for the icm to be replaced, what costs more than the entire terminal block at your local parts store? I have 89K 3500 which is for 502 that updates all standard components of my 454 became like crap ** distributor bottles added some dielectric grease. This distro looks better than most auto parts brands. In terms of performance, I could not tell any difference in my tuned delco. Failed within 1500 miles on a wide new 454. At 1500 miles it started to fail at 2000 rpm and up. Lid and rotor removed. Black roll bar and carbon chains. Lid and rotor replaced with Delco air conditioning. That helped, but didn't fit the problem. Finally, I cleaned a stock Delco A/C manifold that had 225,000 miles on the odometer.
