This is a great way to mount a front shield for front winch vehicles, especially my Jeep Wrangler. While the front tag is optional in my state, I wanted to be able to mount a front tag, which I previously could not do with my aftermarket front bumper and winch. This flip plate works great! The only advice I can give the manufacturer is to thread the bolt and nut holding the roller clamps onto the plate itself. As supplied by the seller the nut is on top which prevents the trailer from lying flat on the mounting plate. I bought a pack of #10 washers from my local hardware store and swapped the nut and bolt, giving a much tighter location for the tag. Although the label is not 100% on the record, it is much better than the way the record is shipped.
