2010 Lincoln Executive L & Monroe OE Spectrum

2010 Lincoln Town Car Executive L Monroe OE Spectrum Everyone told me I would be disappointed with the dual tube design compared to the single tube OEM design. For me personally, this damper is soft enough to provide extra comfort that complements the air ride feel more than a factory monotube damper, while still supporting the weight of the car and providing perfect control. I've ridden with the Air Ride on and off and the Monroe OE Spectrum shocks have held up well. April 2021 update so I bought these and initially the shock was firm but soft but after an initial 4 month break all the shocks are gone. By pre-installing I came to the conclusion that the damper is actually too soft and with the extended wheelbase the dampers are not stiff enough to support the car's weight on the Portland roads, it bangs in mid-air and with no other rear suspension through themes. the car's response is more on the free side.
