I like to ride with new luggage racks.

My son is a car enthusiast and he recommended and installed these. Easy installation as a one-piece unit that can be removed and inserted. I love to ride.

Very easy to install

Installed on a 2003 Grand Marquis with 190,000 miles. What a huge difference. After 12,000 km they work perfectly. Very easy to install. Definitely recommend these dampers.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • I won't tell

good shock absorber best replacement part

so far so good with these shock absorbers. When I looked to buy the price for those shocks plus the Monroe name seemed good. With air suspension at the rear, these shock absorbers would only be helpers. So far, so good. They were very easy to install and I'm happy with them.

Pros
  • large selection
Cons
  • only available in black

Great! on parts

I always use Monroe shocks and struts when available and applicable. I installed a pair of these on the back of my 2005 Lincoln Town Car today (09/03/2021). Both arrived early, both work great and I'm very happy with the price and performance! 5 Stars!

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Replacement availability

Perfect Rear Shock Absorbers for Town Car

Excellent Rear Shock Absorbers for 2006 Lincoln Town Car. While the air suspension works well, replacing the stock shocks after 100,000 miles made a huge difference. No more falls over level crossings. Worth every penny!

Pros
  • Always Liked
Cons
  • Expensive Insurance

Terrible journey. in Shocks, Struts & Suspension

Terrible shock absorbers. The original ones that had bad roads are better than this one. I wish I had kicked her out that early. The car is also lower. Update 7/30/18 I bought these shocks to replace the original factory shocks on my 2010 Grand Marquis and now after riding these shocks for less than a year I need to replace them. The rear of the car sags on most speed bumps and dips. The rear of the car is also lower, with the passenger side being almost 2 inches lower than the driver's side…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • High price

2010 Lincoln Executive L & Monroe OE Spectrum

2010 Lincoln Town Car Executive L Monroe OE Spectrum Everyone told me I would be disappointed with the dual tube design compared to the single tube OEM design. For me personally, this damper is soft enough to provide extra comfort that complements the air ride feel more than a factory monotube damper, while still supporting the weight of the car and providing perfect control. I've ridden with the Air Ride on and off and the Monroe OE Spectrum shocks have held up well. April 2021 update so I…
