I recommend using quick-disconnect terminals. The plastic housing isn't high-temp rated and can melt if you try soldering to the tabs. One of the 5 switches didn't work. The internal pivoting contact wasn't installed correctly. It was a simple repair.If you intend to use it with voltages higher than 12 volts, you will need to add a resistor in series with the copper tab. Otherwise, the LED will have a short life. Likewise, I wouldn't recommend using this switch for inductive loads (motors, relays, etc.). The voltage spike created when a motor is switched off can damage the LED.
