But mounting the fan firmly to the radiator is really washer-free, although it is recommended. Required for all new computer builds in place of the factory screws that come with the heatsink or fans. They are much higher quality and can reduce the amount of noise generated by fan vibration due to bad threads or cheap screws. They are ideal for mounting 120mm or 140mm fans on a radiator. Supplied in high-quality cardboard packaging, easy to open, easy to close. Hope that helps.
