This is definitely a visual rather than a physical deterrent. But any lock is really just a deterrent to a determined thief. These are good stuff, they come with a carry case AND 6 keys (no need to ask the corner locksmith or home stockist to duplicate any of those keys, so that's a plus). Our trailer is fitted with 205/75/14 tires and the manufacturer says the 65 and 75 will work with rims and tires of that size. Although technically correct, these (75s) are actually too big for our trailer. They go and won't come loose unless someone brings some tools, but it's not a very tight, secure fit. I chose to keep them because we have other cargo trailers with big tires that I have them on sometimes like to use. What does MFG say?
