Due to all the bike buying caused by COVID I couldn't find a stock bike stand that I like so I made my own using this fork mount. Works great on my circa 1994 mountain bike. On my 2016 bike, the nylon quick release lever nut is pressed into my fork, so I need to find a washer that is 9mm ID and 1mm thick. Maybe a 3/8 ID washer will work without the big OD. MBP suggestions are welcome. I mounted it on a 1 x 5 x 4 foot board and used Yakima round bar carriage bolts to hold it in place. 2 in front, one in back. He's pretty strong.
