I recently received this footrest for my nine year old grandson's bike. I received the stand and it looked like a quality product as described and shown in the ad. He and I had a pleasant experience installing a kickstand on his bike and the first four visits he used the bike worked well. On Christmas Day, during her visit, I watched as he rode his bike into my garage, fell onto the running board and saw a piece of metal fly away. After examining the piece of metal and determining where it came from on the stand, it became pretty clear that it was a materials issue. This product was supposed to last a long time, but it only lasted up to the fifth use. At this time I cannot recommend purchasing this product.
