Review on High-Quality Spacer Material for Knife Making by Brian Finley

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great colors NOT just cardboard

I read the reviews posted here before purchasing this product. One review said it was just cardboard and why would anyone use it on a good knife. Well, it's not just cardboard, it's vulcanized cardboard, and it's a very good product. Vulcanized cardboard goes through a process that makes it hard on the inside and very durable. If you are unfamiliar with this type of product, I understand why you don't understand what it is. But it is unfortunate that a person who has no experience in making knives can write a bad review. This is a well made shank that is great for liners and knife handle spacers. I bought a similar stock elsewhere and it's a very fair price for the quality. And you get a good range of colors.
