Absolutely superb kit. The only thing he could use was tweezers or large tweezers, but I got by with old surgical tweezers. Using this kit and watching detailed video tutorials from Other World Computing made adding an SSD as a second drive after an optical drive an easy and fun project. I would like to point out that if you buy a non-OWC SSD like me (I used Samsung) these can be thinner than OWC which requires more careful placement. This is because one of the cables has a 90 degree bend to ensure it fits the space properly. However, thinner SSDs like Samsung's force the connector closer to the back of the case than I'd like, making it difficult to ensure that excessive cable flex isn't stressed. I solved the problem by experimenting with the mounting position, but in hindsight adding four more double sided sticky pads would have done the trick by slightly changing the height of the gap. However, it works great and is terribly fast at booting, logging in, and launching apps compared to a hard drive alone.
