I didn't prepare and wax my Tesla properly. He's 5 years old so it's about time. The color still looks good and I want it to stay the same so I prepare to work with clay, polish and wax. I have all the machines and cleaning supplies needed to do a thorough job. I am very glad that I bought the iron remover. I just sprayed it on, waited for it to turn purple, and rinsed it out with a hose. Light. I saw a lot of purple and the little orange spots disappeared. I think this is an important step, even for a brand new car, but of course after 5 years of use. Taking off a star because I wanted the bottle to be a few ounces larger. I had to use sparingly as I neared the end. My car is big and I needed a whole bottle. Two more ounces would be ideal. But I just did it and I feel good about taking that step. I would make one more change. I want to buy a product that removes iron and tar. I used a different resin product. So the prep took 2 passes but each one was easy so it didn't matter much. Adams Iron Remover worked great on the iron and that's why I bought it. I also had a lot of dirt from the wheels. A good thing. Will use again.
