Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 275/35 R19 100Y Summer by Adam Kotowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didn't expect the quality to be so high.

I purchase a second pair of Continental ContiPremiumContact 6 tires so that I can use them on a variety of vehicles. In August of 2022, I purchased the first one of 225/55 R18 98V for 40 thousand dollars for the Outlander V6. When compared to the factory tires, I didn't detect a significant change with the standard tires. 15 000 miles driven. 245/50 R18100Y for 55,000 dollars on the second-generation BMW X3 3.0d F25 in May of 2022. Mileage 1k. A stock RunFlat existed previously, and it was here that the rubber could be seen in its entirety. Before, when the runflat hurled me down the road, I had to hold the steering wheel solidly with both hands. Now, however, I am free to relax and have pleasure behind the wheel instead of being forced to do so. Rebuilding on the Hong Kong Ring Road from the right lane to the left lane is not a choppy movement like bouncing on the waves with the steering wheel pulled; rather, it is a smooth movement. Rubber is gentler and smoothly glides through all of the joints. Maintains control of the road while maintaining a comfortable position during the turns. PS: I came into a nasty review written by the owner of the identical BMW, and although it took me a while to figure it out, the experience of driving an Outlander spoke to me about something else. I'm not sure where in the runflat controllability was there, but the fact that he maintained a completely flat straight line baffles me. Yes, that's how any rubber can get that result. Rulitsya Continental performed very well, particularly when it traveled around all of the neglected locations on a well-studied road, and there were no complaints. It's possible that there are tires that are of higher quality, but for my needs, they are more than adequate. Concerning wear, the tires on the Outlander have 15 thousand miles on them, and while I can't estimate by how much they've worn out, the difference between them and the new set is evident. If the annual mileage is 50,000, then maybe this is not the best choice, and you should pick something more robust; however, if the mileage is 10-15,000 annually, then 4 years is sufficient for a ride that is extremely comfortable. In all honesty, I was fine with the original factory rubber. Both times, I took it to Shinservis in Mitino, where they offered a free tire fitting with the purchase of a kit and allowed me to keep the old rubber. Employees always engaged in conversation, demonstrated the current state of the disks, subtly provided a variety of options, and did not turn their backs or walk away in silence.

Pros
  • (in comparison to RunFlat) handling, and a low overall noise level. Tires focused on comfort.
