Review on ☕ Keurig Brewer-Compatible Disposable Filters: 300 Replacement Single Serve Paper Filters for Regular and Reusable K Cups, Enjoy Your Custom Coffee Experience! by Becky Gallegos

Great alternative to use in place of pods

I've wanted to throw out Keurig's ready-to-use pods for a long time, and I've also wanted to grind my own coffee. I knew the taste would be much better if the coffee was freshly ground and I would use less plastic too. When I first started using reusable coffee pods on my own, I found it very difficult to clean them after each use, the ground coffee would get stuck in the strainer and was often difficult to remove. It's perfect! Nonetheless, a few pointers. Don't just let the filter sit on the edge of the plastic capsule near the edge. Through trial and error I found that I had to make sure the filters were all the way down even if the rim of the filter wasn't on the rim of the plastic container. If I don't, I think the weight of the water entering the pod will cause the filter to fall to the bottom of the pod mid-brew and the brew will stop immediately, halfway to the cup! It took me a few tries to figure out what was going on, I thought something was wrong with my Keurig! So make sure you fully insert the filter before pouring in the coffee and you should be good to go. This makes the pod very easy to clean, all I have to do is open the pod and toss the filter and coffee in the bin (or compost if you prefer). Then I just rinse the capsule to get rid of some residue, but that's only a few seconds of rinsing. Highly recommend if you want flavorful coffee using your own (or store bought) ground coffee and want to save the environment and lots of money by paying for disposable coffee pods!
