Seems very well made; the sole was flat and the cutter was tight in it's slot and seemed to be pretty solid when clamped in position using the thumbscrew shown in the picture but a ratcheting handle was supplied to give more clamping force if needed. The edges on the upper parts were sharp, so need some work to remove the sharp corners on the upper surfaces to make it more comfortable to handle. The cutter was pretty sharp as received but needed some polishing and honing to make it work better. A personal preference - the handles are a little tall for my liking. Going to try it for a while "as is", but will probably shorten them a little.
