So I installed them because most of our trips are through wooded areas where deer regularly congregate. A friend recommended them to me and I quickly checked the reviews to find the best one. I received them quickly and installation was easy. I followed the instructions in the letter. For several months I was convinced that I was impenetrable. I only saw a deer or two when they had them. Then, on a chilly November evening, Jane Doe decided to jump her lucky butt right in front of my deer proof car, which was going at over 65 miles an hour and was being driven by my 15 year old son. As you can clearly see in the photos, they do not work. Luckily we escaped uninjured and the car was replaced. But yeah, don't waste your money.
