Firstly, yes you can absolutely get a good set of mounts that work well for less money. Big. Fit and function: perfect. No game, mounts and gear are safe. Installation: Easy, but the version I have requires a 4.5 hex disc. Also, it's easier if you do 1/4 turn, then move to the next screw and do 1/4, repeat. Otherwise, it may move (for example, when installing a mount for an optical sight). I also applied some blue Loctite. Overall: The look and feel couldn't be better. About a month after the Arizona surges and vibrations, they didn't move. I recommend to everyone.
