I used this to remove the valve core on my LG Mini Split. I was able to remove the valve core on the second try. I would definitely recommend for a beginner/hobbyist like me to practice core removal on other items before attempting to fire on a mini split. This can be a daunting task and, if done incorrectly, can lead to a costly or dangerous mistake.
