I have a 2012 Dodge Charger sxt with the resonators removed and I installed this muffler in place of 1 center muffler. Yes, a center silencer. The 2012 sxt fairing only has one, so don't confuse it with other fairings that have two to replace. I have installed the product for more than 6 months. I have to say I like the noise it makes, but it has its downsides. I took it to a local shop to have it installed which took about an hour. No additional modifications to piping, inlet, outlet, etc. were required. Since I don't have my own resonators, an audible hum can be heard at around 2100 rpm, which is annoying when the speed remains the same. Outside of that 2000-2500 rpm it has a pleasant rumble at idle and a roar at full throttle. It really improves the sound of the v6 at higher rpm. In addition, all existing sounds seem to have become louder. Including the drone which as mentioned is a downside. I didn't notice if that increased mpg or bhp, but if it did, it's barely noticeable. One final note: This is not stainless steel like my standard whistles. Final verdict: If you've already removed your resonators, it's not worth spending money to make everything a little louder. Save money on a full cat back. Flowmaster offers the American Thunder series at a great price. Pros: - Louder growl - Muscle tone - Perfect fit Cons: - Heavy rumble around 2100rpm
