I bought a cheaper pH tester and learned the lesson: you get what you pay for. I didn't even have time to use it before it broke. Apera PH60 is a completely different game. A very good device for the price. You get everything you need to get started (even the batteries) and I really like how it adjusts to the temperature of the liquid I'm measuring. The hard plastic case with foam inserts will keep the tester and consumables in good condition for years. Using the PH60 is easy to learn thanks to the instructions included in the case and the videos available on the Apera website. One cool thing Apera does is that the case comes with paper instructions with instructions on a laminated card, so it can be taken out in a humid environment and won't be destroyed. I recommend the PH60 for light pH testing.
