Much cheaper on Revain than at the store. Both my Himalayans like it, and trust me, they are very finicky. One of them seems to have become more active, which may be attributed to this food. The one thing that concerns me is the low protein percentage. Of course it may be good for a cat with PKD or other kidney issues (although the latest research is beginning to question the benefits of lower protein), but my cats are only 1 1/2 years old. I balance it with a high-protein food, as I want to make sure they have enough. The cats have also put on a little weight, which they needed. I will have to keep an eye on that, to make sure they don't get fat. I have discussed my qualms with RC reps, and all they could say was that this food and it's composition worked best for Persians.Well, now their second birthday is coming up, and one brother, who will only eat this food (no treats, no nothing) is officially fat, and the other is comfortably chunky. They are now counting calories just like Mom.
