This was a comparable replacement for the small old cockpit lights on my sailboat. 2 in the V slot area and 2 above the sofas in the main cabin. They were a little smaller and a little brighter on high settings - great for reading. The subdued setting gave off a nice warm glow. The frosted light ring prevents glare when looking directly inside. The slim profile, chrome frame and touch switch provide a very clean look once installed. I put them on a 40 year old sailboat and they do NOT look out of place. If they make one of those 6" I will be replacing my last 2 large lights. I really like them! You can order them individually, in a pack of 4 or in a pack of 6. I ordered 4 packs as I have 4 had to replace small lightbulbs.
