great odor reducer in garbage and burglaries

We have a wolf hybrid who is not very clear indoors/outdoors and a 15 year old Akita so accidents happen a lot. We have parquet floors from the 1890's that are almost impossible to completely clean of cracks or crevices and 100% seal. In the years since the floor had last been sealed, the smell of urine had permeated some of the rougher spots. No hand scrubbing with anything will remove it, and I don't want to use too much wood liquid. These are a few common places that have been cleaned adequately, there is just a slight odor that you don't notice until you lean towards the floor. In fact, the entire floor needed something to clean that would help reduce lighter traces of dirt or general pet odors. No spot cleaning. With no dilution instructions, I started pouring this into our new vacuum at full strength. It smelled very strong and was obviously going through the bottle at an alarming rate. I can't afford several gallons of cleaning solution every month for just 2 main rooms in my house, plus dog accidents in between. I steadily added more water when I had used a little, paying attention to the smell of the grout, the dirty water running off the floor, and any remaining areas of smell. I've found that diluting about 1 part solution to 4 parts warm water works well in mop vacuums (we have bissel shear waves too). It still significantly reduced the urine smelling areas left behind by other cleanings, reduced our allergy symptoms and left the rooms smelling fresher. The dirty water tank also didn't smell as bad as when using the simple green product formula we normally use for clutter. It may take a few diluted cleanings to completely remove odors from some areas of the floor, but that doesn't mean the entire floor can't be washed as often, or I'll focus full-on spot-hunting once I get the spot right can determine exact problem areas. My second problem is a broken and then renewed sewer pipe in the basement, after which I still have to finish cleaning. Unfortunately, the Prod-type solutions for Covid surfaces intended for post-plumbing cleaning are also sold out and the smell is still not completely removed. So I'm hoping to use this enzymatic cleaner to remove all human contamination from the basement concrete and then re-treat it with a strong disinfectant just to be safe. Tests on small areas look promising. Definitely better than the dish soap and borax mix I tried a few days ago.

Pros
  • looking forward to
Cons
  • too stupid
